Advice: 1st Try for Street Photog

Many thanks to everyone for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it. I didn't expect so many comments, but I'm sure glad you posted them because they help me learn. Most of you thought that shot #2 needed more space on the left. I didn't think so when I posted it, but you gave me food for thought. So I revisited my cache of shots to see if I had one with more space. And, YES!, I did. Here it is, in both B&W and color (I, of course, prefer the color version). Do you like this better?

Now in # 2 you have completely taken away the visual tension.....the image is stagnant...so is the eye travel....the original is stronger because it has tension against the frame.....

the 1st image.. if you look at her hand...and the background on the rtight...the shape complements her fingers...that's the irritant....but I think you should make more images....concentrate on the scene and let it develop before you release......just breathe and let it happen...your on your way...don
