from what i can see the first one looks really pretty. Can't really make out much in the second picture. You should definately post bigger pictures for all to see. Makes critiquing a lot easier.

here is another one (I am sort of figuring out how best to post for future use on this forum)

I am very interested in photography yet find myself devoting time to it speratically with some great time lapses--I know this is not conducive to a solid emperical knowledge base, but time is scarse these days--nonetheless, I love photography and think that getting feed back from other phtographers I can maintain some consistancy in the photo world and also enhance my knowledge base and skill level.

now that i can see them better i'll comment. The first one has really nice composition and is a great capture. I would like it a lot bettr if their was more detail in the sky...might want to look into an ND graduated filter.
The one with the sunset is really pretty, i love the silloute look. Great job with that one

thanks for the feed back--and I have am starting to think that an nd filter would be a good investment--any suggestions of grade/#?

For the best posting, just upload your pictures to photobucket.com in the size that you want them, and unless they are gigantic they will stay that way. Take the links that they provide you and paste them into the text box. Done and done.
