Hi Guys

Re: Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX

I'm thinking of getting this flash - and will be using it wth a 30D.

Will it work with High Speed Sync so I can use shutter speeds greater than 1/350 second? (Say 1/2000 sec or faster)

How much and how available are adapter rings if needed?

I find the Canon website hopeless for finding accessories - any links for finding a front and rear picture of it?

Thanks

yep there are a lot of settings to be had ...auto..manual..flash ratios.highspeed sync..fec, feb,1st/2nd curtain flash, custom functions,master/slave settings, modeling light,...there is no dial on the back(as on the 580) just buttons which at times can be a little fiddly but not that bad have a look on canons site it tells you all about it.

Thanks Phil and Racketman - between you, you have provided all the answers I needed.

I like your display Racketman - very good. I can now see you get a bit of 'bang for your buck' with the MR-14EX. It almost justifies the £300 price tag. £300 would have bought a house in 1945.
I searched Canons website till I fed-up with searching it - one of the most unintuitive sites I've come across. Perhaps they'd be better putting in a link to Racketman's site?

Regards & thanks
