If you would like to edit feel free. Just please let me know what you done so I can learn.

I have converted it B/W. I have also covert just the subject to B/W and left background color, and added more blur to be background by creating a layer and add the effect. When I erase the subject out of the layer. How can I make the edges of the subject smoother? Also where is a good tut on dodge and burn? Thanks for all you help.

Nice photo.

You said it was ok to edit, but you should also turn it on in your user options.

Tried to get a bit more detail out of the shadows.
Slight shadows/highlights.
My velvia script (2,2,0)
USM to sharpen.
Added contrast with usm.
Framed with my script.
