In 1934, Yoshida succeeded in producing a prototype of the first domestically made 35mm focal-plane shutter camera. A believer of the Buddhist faith, he named it "Kwanon" after the Goddess of Mercy, and placed an advertisement for "Kwanon Cameras" in the June 1934 issue of Asahi Camera magazine. - Canon Global History Page - Current Equipment FS items https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1228198

If that bothers you Ocean Blue, the 30D features a manual reset of the image count - see page 71 of the manual if you want to set back to 0.

Once it hits 9999 you have to start over again. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Well... at least that first part (about 1 series) is my personaly experience, and second part (about everything else from Canon), is based on this what I read here and on other forums, so it might be different, but I would doubt so many people would be wrong PhotoSI

Nick - thanks for the tip. It didn't really bother me (although I did think it a bit quirky), but now that I know it's not set in stone, I may take advantage of that feature. I'm reading through the manual again and I'll spend some time on page 71. Thanks again.
