Apr 24, 2006 10:30 | #10 You are correct the longest I used was 200mm. It would have been great to have a longer lens, and if you can afford it, then get one. I was quite lucky that we got quite close to the animals. If i had more money i would have gotten a longer lens, but i made do with what I had. Chris

I bought a 1.4x extender for my 200mm so I've got 280, but seeing your photos makes me te think that might be enough. I especially like the fact that your photos show the animals in their environment, whereas I've seen so many close, close crops that could have been taken at the local zoo!
