My first night photography and first fireworks. The new Red Rock Hotel and Casino opened on Tuesday night here in Las Vegas. It's an almost 1 Billion dollar neighborhood casino in the Summerlin area where I live. I shot this with my 20D, Manual, f/8, 1.6 sec., ISO 100, using my 17-85 at 30mm, on a tripod.

Nice. Fireworks are so hard to do right. I'll be in Vegas in about a month. I want to go check this casino out. Last time I was in town, the new Wynn resort had just opened.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.
