Nice job, I like the first one best, the second is a little hot on the petals.

Lovely shots Marie, Hope my water lilies blossom this year, still have a long way to go though. Good thing it was HOT & HUMID seeing as how those are the tropical kind. :lol: :lol:

thanks Bindii ,the colours in there were beautiful
but the humidity was a bit overpowering and stifling
especially with all the other exotic leaves on plants around the outside of the pond itself

yes, I agree
but really am not too sure what to think about that one
the colours were very vibrant in the slightly steamy atmosphere
I may have sharpened too much to get the stamen (?) highlighted

no, nothing different except sharpened , maybe a little too much


the lily was in a different section of the huge old glasshouse
and the light was falling differently
can make colours fade or pale
or glow
