Thank you, bravo! I had to work around harsh shadows that day. The evening hours are the most difficult for me.:(

Thank you, Marcus!:D I really contemplated before I posted anything in sports because I was afraid that mine would look like total r@p (INVALID EMAIL) compared to what others have posted. Croasdail, Gmen, Liza, and other sports shooters here post some really outstanding images! I'm just a newbie who is trying hard to learn. I finally got the courage because if I'm going to learn all I can about sports photography, my pictures are going to have to be scrutinized by the more experienced photographers. So here I am...:)

I like 'em a lot Jenn. You've certainly captured the action and it's clear to see the fun they're having... and that's what it's all about!

Might be worth shooting from a lower vantage point next time? That generally works well with the youngsters... just have to be a little bit careful with the backgrounds.

Can't wait for your next post! Keep 'em coming!

Thanks so much, Gavin!:D I really value everyone's input here. I have read somewhere recently (I think it was at the sports shooter forums) what you have said about shooting from a lower position. The backgrounds can get pretty distracting sometimes. Thank you for reiterating that for me.:) I get so caught up in the moment sometimes, I forget what I'm doing. I definitely need to slow down and think before I shoot.

I will keep shooting so I can get better...until next time...:)

Thank you, Anthony!:) I think I photograph her more than anybody else, even more than my daughter. It must be the red hair...but more importantly, she's a really good player and one of my daughter's good friends.:)

It is the looks on the kids faces which makes the shots for me. They look like they are having alot of fun.
