Dragonboat Weather is coming!

After having the coldest wettest winter in a while ,the good weather is returning to Vancouver BC!
Here are some shots of the Team I coach. shot off a moving coachboat with a 135L. ( i was driving!)

For my personal taste the crops are too close, but I am looking forward to seeing more dragonboat action from you :D

I don't have an exact explanation, but I would assume a group of people that comes together on a regular basis with the purpose of jointly participating in a race run with so-called dragon boats (rowing boat with a dragon head in front, like the example I linked from another site)

Another cool site is this (assuming it might be the race for which you are practicing) ... not a single picture of an actual dragon boat in it (although the 'racing photo gallery section' boasts a whopping total of 17 images :lol:)

Is it a timed event or do they race other boats? and yes i think the first pic are cropped to tight for my taste.if i really have a taste ..lol :)
