I took these pictures in a bar so there was not much in the way of light but I was wondering if people think they would have came out better if there was more light. Half the time I think that the little amount of light adds some mystique to the pictures but the other half I think that if I could see the labels easier it would be better.

Photography is writing with light, so a bit more light would be welcome(maybe from the back so the green color of the bottle in the 2nd picture would come out nice). And keeping it mystic at the same time, that 's the challange.

I like the idea of a candle. All in all I do not think it came out too bad seeing I was in a red-neck bar somewhere north of Atlanta.
Have you played with candle light a lot? Just wondering about positioning, size of candle, multiple candles, etc...
