my new friend...Rocky. (cant believe i got this)

I cant even believe this shot and I took it! I know its not great or even good but it is OK and i am amazed.. XT, 420EX, 70-200 f4 L, 10 o clock at night, in the rain, from my porch. i couldnt barley see him except for his silhouette on the chimney. I was on the porch waiting for my dog to come in and i hear a noise on the neighbors roof, i looked up and saw Rocky climbing to the top twords the chimney. I knew it wasnt a cat and i knew there was a coon around as i have seen him before. I grabed the cam and when focusing, all i had to go by was the infared beam on the 420EX was making his eyes light up red. He let me get three shots before he got bored..this was the best and the only one that didnt have a red background for some reason.

Little late for Santa ... I'd mask off and darken the leaves and eaves to the same level as the chimney ... than all you'd have are eyes.

THANKS ALL...ANYONE HAVE ANY THOUGHT AS TO WHY THE OTHER SHOTS CAME OUT WITH A "NUCLEAR' red background, with just a small amount of black around rocky?

i cant believe i got this one.. sheesh, i have enough trouble getting a good shot on a nice sunny day, when i can actually see what it is im shooting at! i was actually aiming at a dark sillhouette and focusing off his red eyes.
