"Butterflies go free" - 56k get a coffee

Pictures from a live butterfly exhibition at Montreal's Botanical Garden. They were alive and flying "free" inside a greenhouse room. There were plates of fruits placed around that acted as feeders for them. I counted about only 10-12 different butterfly species, most were "owl's eye" and black and blue ones. But there was a lot! Though, it was cool to have them flying around us, sometimes landing on our clothes, and almost in our lenses.

Cool shots, I wish we had a butterfly house where I live. I like number 4 the best - number two is good also.

I'm blown away by the photos on this site. It's the beginning of butterfly season here, but sheesh, who can aspire to equal photos like these??!!
