You get what you pay for ... you want cheap, you'll get cheap.

BORROW the money for the good photographer, or clone yourself so you can shoot your own wedding. Those are the only 2 options that don't end in your bride crying herself to sleep.

Hope you found a photographer.

I just can't help myself,but I'm not keen on the idea of borrowing cash for paying a wedding. I'd never go to a bank & borrow money for my wedding. I'd much prefer to try cutting down some costs & perhaps ask family/ guests to help out with costs as their gift to us.

I would also consider contacting a really good photographer and seeing if one or two of their assistants would do it. They often times have a ton of experience and are willing to do some work for cheaper. Plus you can get good word of mouth from straight pros on how good their assistants are.

not necessarilly... there are still cheap photographers who have the passion to shoot and diliver good results... i say, just look for him...
