Pictures of Snickers, hunting at night. The first two were taken in almost total darkness with flash, the third one was taken at dusk @ ISO 3200, f/2.5.

The pics are from this gallery

that contains (I guess) some pics that are definitely more different from the usual cat pics, but some of you may already have seen them in the past.

the last is a great shot, despite the small size of the cat compared to everything else, Snickers is not lost in it, nicely done.

Just returned after many years hiatus from this forum. I was a bit of a prat before, if I ever offended you, I'm sorry

Interesting pictures. I like them. Did Snickers actually catch anything or did the flash scare it away?

Bob Gear List

The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! (Matt. 6:22-23)

I don't remember if he caught anything on this trip, but at least on one hunting trip at dusk he did, when I was taking flash pics. If he hears / sees the mice on open ground, they don't stand a chance. (I think) he often spots the rodents by hearing them.
