So I ordered my 30D from B&H yesterday and when I told my wife she asked, " I thought you were'nt going to get a new camera, I thought you said it wasnt much better than yours?" ... then she looks at me with a puzzled look on her face and says.. " Is this a Penis thing?" I wasn't expecting that so I didnt know what to say, so I thought it through and finally said, Yes... Yes it is!
She didn't know what to do since I obviously didn't give the answer she was expecting, so she told me ... "clean off your desk, it looks like a bomb went off on it" then walked away.
Does that mean she won???
lol, I guess that is why I love her!

why are women so bossy? and why do we love it?

My fiendish plan worked - I asked her what camera she would like for her B'day and she asked for a particular P+S, didn't even notice that my 20D now has a 30D label on it.. muaaahahahahah

Ahh, but work is the doubled-edged sword that both enables and hinders our hobby. On one hand, it pays for our toys - on the other, we're always working instead of shooting. Unless of course you're a full time photographer... :)

Now that spring is in the air, it's particularly hard. We'll get through it. We have each other. LOL.

Well I have an argument to prove to my family that I really am a rational person about my new stuff.. I show them the magazines and show them how much more expensive it could be....... If I didn't show any kind of restraint...

Of course she won!! Any man deluded enough to believe he's won an argument with his wife just doesn't realize the argument is not yet over. ;) AND.... there is always a price to pay if she thinks that you think you DID win - she just hasn't handed you the bill yet.

Zacker, you are hands down the winner here. You got a new camera and all you had to hear was a wise crack about your manhood and clean your desk. Hell, Sunday I told my wife that I wasn't going to play golf, then I ended up playing (just 18 holes and $30 not a new 30D and $1,400 like you) and I am cutoff for at least a week and had to sweep and mop the floors. Good job, bro.
