No problem - just set up a nice candle lit dinner, fine bottle of wine, ..... and of course the Canon 2X extender for those "embarrassing moments" when your "regular equipment" just is not enough  .

My wife got over the shock of me getting the 20D and four new lenses when she started seeing the results. Now all she says is " your camera takes such good pictures" when she sees the flash videos of our kids when I upload them to our website.

thats funny, My wife asked me to print out a few shots for our bed room so i used MPIX and the day they came in she called me at work and was acting strange and i asked why she just kept saying "Your an artist" over and over like she was amazed.. Thinking it was funny I shrugged it off . Now when she wants me to do something i dont wanna do, I say "i cant Honey, I'm an artist"... Yeah, it never worked, I just like saying it.

This is a great thread. I have noticed recently that my wife is sort of admiring some of the shots that I am taking. I am getting a little better at it.

We had a dinner at the church this past Saturday night. Her mother mentioned that she had to go early to take pictures. My wife spoke up quickly and said "Let Kerry to do it. He can shoot them in RAW mode and then adjust them later." :)

Last time I told someone I wanted to shoot their job in RAW: "Oh no you will NOT! I am not that kind of girl!!" Gee, was it something I said?

Well now Simon... that get's me to thinking ( a dangerous state of affairs ) ... we could go into the wedding trade together and call ourselves " The Full Monty of RAW Photography."
