Got a chance to hit Orlando and shoot some wakeboarding.
Here are two from a couple of weeks ago. One of the best in the world behind a boat.

Great shots!

I haven't seen any wakeboarding shots in here yet but since summer time is rolling around I'm sure there'll start being more.

Pretty cool, #1 would be nicer with a straight horizon, and #2 would be nice without a background (especially antenna).
But nice and sharp.

So how did you arrange a ride in her boat?

Cool shots...

The season has started so I agree there will hopefully be more posted.

From your second note, yes that is Dallas, as I said in my original post, she is the best behind the boat.

Thanks for the comments, the background was difficult because every shore line had issues, no matter which way we tried to go there was somthing in the background. I had not played much with the photos, i will straighten the first one out, I agree, will look much better.

Thanks,
Pete

I've not seen any wakeboarding photos so I have nothing to compare it to but I really like how you have her above the trees on the second one. That's an awesome shot. It looks like she is going to be launched right into space.

Thanks for posting these great shots. I'm planning to take alot of wakeboarding shots this summer (of our kids) and need to buy a lens first. Based on your sig, I'm hoping you were using the 70-200 (the lens I'm thinking about), but am afraid it might be the 300! So, which lens were you using?:D

It was the 70-200. the 300 makes a tight photo from the boat that is towing but is great if you can shoot from a second boat. Post some when you can.

Thanks
Pete

Absolutely amazing. I love these shots, you get the spray coming off just right, and it tells alot about how they where moving at the time of the shot.

I would like to see more from you sooon :)
