Ran across this little guy during my 2 day visit to the Grand Canyon.

...nerves of steel, this guy. That was a sheer cliff he was perched on. Even now I got vertigo processing it. :) :)

Ahhhh, the squirrels there are brave little critters, Steve. I have actually seen people sitting/standing on the edges of those rocky cliffs and I often wondered, "Do they realize that could crumble beneath their feet?" YIKES!!!!!

Looking forward to more GC photos :):):)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Wow, I can't even look at that picture. That squirrel is braver than me!

Now I have that short Pink Floyd song from the end of The Wall's first CD running in my mind.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Great title! And I couldn't go that close to the edge (not that I would want to ;-)a ) Oh! And the picture is very nice too...

thanks for the positive comments everyone :)

I didn't see any other squirrels with as much personality. It was as if he/she was posing but after awhile he/she must have tired of that lens in his/her face and asked me to leave.

At least Grand Canyon squirrels have the good manners to provide directions to the exits.
