Very nice series! I like the way you mute down your colors, it gives your photos an urban look. That Sigma lens seems to be a great performer, how much did it set you back? Likwise for the SuperTak 135mm, that 3.5 version is quite sharp. I have the 2.5 and it is awesome too, I'd recommend you get it for that extra stop.

Or is that just dull London weather :D

The City Hall pano looks great. The stitch lines don't come up on my monitor. Great series of photos.

7D and lenses.

Thanks, the Sigma set me back £315, and it has been well worth the money. I love my Super Takumar 135mm, I have actually been contemplating getting the f/2.5 version at some point. :)

Neat shots. The first one makes me feel like I'm going to fall off.

Spooky, I was working in London yesterday, first time in months, and I walked past "The Monument" on my way from Bank to St Pauls, as I did I though, "I must bring a camera and get up there next time":D

Great pictures

Amazing shots, I didn't realize the Sigma 10-20mm could produce such great results.

Dont you just love UWA?

I like the telescope one, you made a good effort at proving "whats the point?" with it since it has bars around it.

Thanks again for the replies... The Sigma really is a winner, especially for the price.

I have a little bit of a problem and it''s this. For me the thing that stands out is that they are ultra wide, its not the composition its not the subject matter its that they are so wide. Which is a problem i have about many ultra wide shots, it's often the most interesting thing about the shots

To be honest i'm sure that lots have people have stood where you stood and took similar shots, you have a limit to work with in. They may not have taken shots has wide has you have taken, but them being wide doesn't make them any more interesting. At least not for me

No offence

Sean

I don't know what good composition is.... Sometimes for me composition has to do with a certain brightness or a certain coming to restness and other times it has to do with funny mistakes. There's a kind of rightness and wrongness and sometimes I like rightness and sometimes I like wrongness. Diane Arbus
