G2 Problems

Hello all

I am a disabled user and I would ask for help please. My Canon G2 has suddenly developed a problem. When I go into replay mode the control will not move the screen onto the next shot. Also, I cannot access the menu by pressing menu, I can only get the menu to show by pressing the silver zoom button? If I get the menu to show this way I cannot access any of the menu options?

I have deleted all the shots from the memory card via my PC.

I do not have a G2 so I cannot comment too much, but it sounds like something has gone corrupt somewhere in the camera's system. Have you tried taking the battery out to see it if helps (like to reset it), or even BOTH batteries? Try take the main battery out for at least 2 minutes and replace to see if that helps. If not, try both batteries. I have had some strange problems with digital camera's in the past that were only solved by removing and replacing the batteries...
