First real motorsports shooting for me this weekend, shot a tarmac rally that was semi-local. I guess something fell through at the last minute, and all 200km had to be run on varuious layouts of a road course, instead of the country roads nearby.
I got a few decent shots though I think for my first real time out shooting a rally. Comments and tips are appreciated. really ugly course, so I tried to get a few creative ones. I should have been shooting much slower shutter speeds, but needed to stay at 2.8 to blow out the insanely ugly chainlink Bgs.
What would some of you guys done in this situation? What sort of speeds shoudl i look for to get nice wheelspin, around 350 or so?
