Thanks fellas....Went out to shoot the NSSA surfing competition today @ Huntington Beach, CA unfortunately I didn't use this lens so I can't post here instead here's a link that I created to share to y'all. All shot with a 1DsMKII + 70-200 F2.8L + 1.4xII. Didn't bring the beastly 400 2.8 as there was also a Kite festival happening as well. Follow me --> https://www.instagram.com/shutterpat/

Peter, from what I've read, it's not a good idea to tape those pins. It might void a warranty. As for my T2i, it just started yesterday. For some reason, it doesn't recognize that there's an SD card in the camera. I called Canon and was told to send it in. The rep was very nice and said that they might fix it for free, even though the camera is out of warranty (only by two months). I haven't been posting because I haven't been able to go shooting. Our weather was horrible. Heavy rain and high winds.

Peter, thank you so much for telling me that. My rep didn't mention any 3 month extension, and while he didn't actually promise a free repair, he sounded quite positive that that would be the case. I dropped her off for shipping yesterday (which means it won't go out until Monday night), and hopefully it won't be long until I have my baby back. In the meanwhile, my good friend Joan will bring me her extra Xsi body when she arrives on Wednesday, and she said I could keep it until I get mine back. She really is a good friend.
