My camera gear lives downstairs (basement) and the vast majority of the time whatever I wanted to shoot is gone by the time I get back with something. Just the day before this hawk photo I brought up a bag w/ only the 300 on a body and left it in a corner of the front room with the thought that it's at least closer if I want it.
