A very economical way to reach the 600mm range and plan to use my 400 F2.8L MKII as it will become an 800mm F5.6. It's AF works on my 40D/5D and of course the 1D's bodies. So far I'm quite pleased with the result. Furthermore, these version II are stackable since I have both now (1.4xII/2xII) a moon shot is in order hehehe.
