I've been scouring this thread and the 400 f/5.6 sample photo thread... Is it just me or does it appear as though the photos are much sharper from the 400 over the 300?

I wouldn't know about the 400 5.6 but the 300 is tack sharp. My copy is really on par with the 70-200 II in terms of sharpness.

I never did the firmware update on my 5D3 and was oblivious to the upgrade. Thanks, downloading now so I can use my 2xTC with this lens. :cool:
