Still my go to lens for Dragonfly shots it is excellent to manual focus.

It is easier than it looks

Most patrol up and down a bit of bank. Look for where they stop and park up there. Pre focus on something a similar distance and when your dragon comes to stop focus and snap. 1/000, f8 and auto iso in Manual will get you started.

I also track with my left eye and close to focus.
