Got this lens Friday. Very happy with it. Took me a while to remove the tripod collar.

Got a second copy of this lens after I returned the last one to my friend. Was choosing between this and the 100-400, but there is just something about this lens that i like. Got a better copy i think, focus is perfect.

I manual focus quite a bit for dragonflies and was wondering if it is normal that when you turn the focus ring it does not always move the lens focus especially at the 3m end. Auto focus is spot on but manual focus seems hit and miss.
