If you auto focus you can use a rain cover to help protect too

It may be old...It may be used....but I think I'm going to love this lens! I didn't get to play with it much before I went to this roping. It was possibly a little too much for this arena...But I'm not complainin'. Also, we are experiencing a LOT of smoke from several wildfires less than 50 miles away, really played havoc with my shots. Question...who puts a Lil Tykes fluorescent slide in a roping ring????

Shhhhh.... The 300 f/4 and the 400 f/5.6 are the best kept secrets in photography. They're sharp, light, tough, cheap and they make pictures like the ones of your pups.
