This looks a little lighter than the one I remember seeing before, so I must have suggested lightening it.

As it looks now, I get a good feeling of depth.

Once you get comfortable with shooting RAW and if you have PSCS2, you will find that the "Merge to HDR" tool will be very useful in a scene like this for taming the highlights and still retaining plenty of detail and depth in the shadows.

I went back to your original post and re-read my comments from that time.
It seems that I was looking for more contrast in the mid and lower tones. I think that I can see from this post that you were able to do that successfully, but the highlights got a little out of control, and they have become a little too hot. I think you can appreciate what I mean, but don't worry about it - the techniques for keeping the highlight detail while opening up the mid tones and shadows take a while to learn and you are getting there.
