Thanks... debating whether to put it in the macro section
but this section seems to be more flower oriented

It would be nice to see something besides bugs in the macro section. Great shot. Have you thought about taking out the black specs in PS?

Which one are you getting? I love mine. Pistol grip mono pod and pistol grip head for fast adjustment.

Here's a copy/paste from B&H of what shipped today:

Bogen / Manfrotto BO486RC2
486RC2 Compact Ball Head with Rapid Connect System 2 (Quick Release)
Supports 13.2 lb (6 kg)

Bogen / Manfrotto BO3245
3245 Automatic Monopod (Black) - Supports 17.60 lb (7.98 kg)

I think its the same monopod as urs but i bought the ball head.

A neat trick I leaned on this forum is to connect the monopod (without head, they have two screw sizes) directly to the lens ring, but keep the ring loose so you can spin it for portrait vs landscape. I usually keep the head on, because I like to brace the pod against something if I can and make adjustments with the head. After years of using tripods, I use my monopod 99% of the time. Its great, I think you'll love it.
