I actually don't care for shooting flowers much...but now that my equipment has come back actually autofocusing properly...I find myself shooting anything and everything again - just like I did when I first got my camera. Thes are all ISO100, Av mode, USM 10/60/0 for that bit of haze, and 100/.3/0 to pop the sharpness a wee bit more. Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L matched to Digital Rebel XT body. No flash. No crops, no modifications other than stated.

i really like the first shot but i think a square crop would work best because the upper part of the background is quite distracting

Thanks. I cropped to 8x10 for a print for my mother and she loved it. I think it worked. Not quite square but better I believe.

BTW - on another forum I was told my bokeh is screwed up from my USM methods...but to me it looks fine. Anyone else seeing what the guy have been talking about? He said it's almost dizzying or something. I don't see it.
