First glance and I was wondering where the fallout would go....

I think you got it a bit too bright in the sky. The sheep look quite good with the backlight and there appears to be frost around. Except for that sun it's not too bad but the sun is major.

Use of filters could have helped this shot. im no expert but I would have probably use a polarizer.

Great idea and I like the comp, but as mentioned above, the sun is a major issue and makes it hard to focus on the good points of the shot.

Hey, MIc, I'm new at this too so can't really help you out with the technical stuff. I'm learning too, and this forum is one of the best sources for knowledge. On the other hand, it looks like you could crop out the top just above the tree tops eliminating most of the direct sun, and come up with a very interesting shot. I like the sun dripping through the sheeps fur in the foreground the best.

Terminator 4. Rise of the sheep. That fallout is funny and I agree that it looks like that BUT I love the picture. I was about to rave about it until I saw the fallout comment. There must be way to fix that without cropping or anything else. I just totally love everything, expecially the positioning and backlighting of the animals.

I am used to the sun looking like that because of terrible pollution and dust storms here in Seoul. Maybe that's why it doesn't bother me.
