Today's Science Lesson: Eating bugs is rough (Pretty gross, but cool)

I was watching this Kingbird when I saw this "bump" activity starting on his back/shoulder. I thought that he might give a good display of ruffled feathers or something so I kept shooting. To my surprise, he yarfed! And what yarf it was.... I guess that eating bugs is kind of rough on the stomach. If you're going to get grossed out, then don't look past the first 2 pics. After that, it's a real-time science lesson.

Excellent series you managed to get there. One and two are really beautiful shots with good bokeh. When I kept on scrollin my jaw dropped...Wow...number three is just fantastic...how lucky you were to capture that moment...and then I kept on scrolling and the action started. Wow...amazing behaviour series. Well done.

Great sequence shots, Lazy. And great science lesson. Now for the English lesson part...what's a yarf?

Very cool series with the first 2 and last shots being very nice images of the bird. The rest of the images are hilarious....maybe he was alergic to that type of bug and sneezed it out.....

I've ralphed more than a few times, but I just don't have the energy to yarf. Great series!
