i like the second shot more, but the flare seems too typically photoshop. maybe moving it into the high corner where its not so obvious?


but the orginal photo looks good!

Without the flare is excellent...the purple glow in the background & rich saturation are great.

With the flare, I was really just trying to find something to breakup the solid black background. I agree that this works much better. I didn't like the flare either.

awesome, that purple blur seems to do what you wanted, breaking up the balck bg a little. nice work! glad my advice was useful!
