Went out this morning, not the best weather we've had in ages but have had a lot of rain so just for Tony, here's my first posted waterfall pic ;)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

When we first got to karekare it was still raining. It cleared for us to have a look around. On the way back we poped into the upper Nihotupu area, as I hadnt been there since summer.

It was in major flood. Most of my PBase waterfalls did not look like the area today. Many new small waterfalls in the area now come to life.

mostly what I'd call "average".
I think I need a more substantial tripod as I'd like less movement (they ain't as sharp as I'd like)

It takes abit of geting used to. The exposure is hard due to the extremes between the bush the water and the sky.

Have try HDR but didnt seem to help much. Grad ND is helpful.

That tripod I got hold well, pain at time to lug but soild like a rock. Can hold the 5D and bigma with mo movement.
