Apr 29, 2006 22:47 | #9 They are venomous but there hasnt been a recorded death in missouri from a copperhead bite in over 70 years. More people die of bee stings than snake bites. I find them very beautiful animals.

Flash is a little hot, but it doesn't look like you had many other options if it was in the wild and on the forest floor. I like it a lot. Watch where you step! I lived in snake country, but it was rattlesnake country out west. Bombed around Macon, Georgia, a bit too, but never hit the river bottoms where those nasty cottonmouths hang out. Yikes! Steve Foss
