It somewhat annoys me in that in the photo-sharing sections, a thread is rated with say 1 or 2 stars, but there are nothing in the comments that would suggest why the picture is a worthless piece of digital imaging. The poster & the subsequent viewer learn nothing.

There, rant over, I feel better (until someone anonymously rates this thread with 1 star ;))

I didn't notice that threads had ratings until today :)

The ratings seem pointless to me.
