yes it is called 'duckweed' although whats in the photo may or may not be it, or if ducks even eat it. A little poetic license for the sake of art.

by the way I wasn't being 'smart ' about the duckweed
I just said it off hand

You're welcome Marie. I did find out today that ducks do eat on occasion some duckweed.
