May 01, 2006 10:27 | #5 Thanks, Curtis and Kevin. Boulder leases Open Space to cattle owners. Usually, this particular field is full of cows and calves. I don't know why the cattle people decided to run steers this year. There was a serious incident a few years ago, where a lady jogger was trampled by a cow defending her calf. Harold
