Nice shots here Dan of a bird that I also have a hard time spelling ;) :lol: It appears she has not been working that tree too long as there are often several lines of holes with sap running down. They usually defend these areas from Hummingbirds and I think Orioles are attracted to the sugary substance as well. I know bees and wasps and other insects will also be attracted and eaten by the sapsucker. Nice !!
