Still trying to get a Goldfinch in the Redbud, but I thought this Dark-eyed Junco was nice (even with the shadow on his head) ...

I really like the Junco shot. Great exposure. Bonus that it's in one of my favorite trees. This shot shows the difference in temperature. Our redbuds are nearly finished flowering. The Lincoln's Sparrow is very nice too, I think I saw my first the other day but can't be sure. It definitely had a different appearance than a swamp sparrow.

Thanks liv, I'll try saturating it a bit more, but I think the evening sunlight is just overpowering the colors of the bird. The bg looks saturated enough to me.

Thanks ngannet. I'm hoping we don't get anymore frosts that will do our redbud blossoms in!

I will have to agree with the others, the junco surrounded by the budding red buds is very pleasing to the eye. Well done on all.

The colors and composition of the junco shot are excellent! The finch seems a little washed out .

That Junco shot is a very pretty one. Great surroundings. For the House Finch I could be wrong but it looks like it's been run through a noise reduction software too heavily (at least thats the type of look you get when this happens). Well done on the Lincoln's!

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm not sure what's up with the finch. It may just be the lighting and an incorrect exposure. I don't believe I over-noise reduced. I haven't had the time to go back and mess with the levels.
