This was my last encounter with a bird on my weekend birding shoot. This was taken at noon Sunday as I was leaving Richland Wildlife Management Area, Texas. These are cropped. Hope you enjoy.

Looks like you had some tough lighing conditions with harsh pm time light and green canopy shading. The cropping is showing some stress in the form of noise but at least you got some shots. Under these and similar conditions I don't think its possible to get a good shot without a flash and B.Beamer to fill in the shadows and liven up the eyes . Gary Fairhead C/C welcome .....

I think this a better crop. The lighting was tough, mid-day and I did not fire the Better-Beamer!!! I was excited _______________
