YIPEE!!! It is done!!! (BTW, rice throwing was not allowed...that would've added some interest to this shot)... I also tried to include the cross, but that severely distorted some people.

The groom........I regret the fact that I did not get a good shot of the B&G..........there was no eye contact because I stole this shot from a pro who was in charge :-(

Nice work ... a little thing ... if you're using architecture as part of the frame, make your body is centered in relation to it so there is symmetry there ... either that or skew yourself so the symmetry is obviously NOT centered ... but being ALMOST there detracts from the image a bit, and is impossible to correct because the people in the shot will look freakishly distorted.

So for shots down the isle, make sure you're exactly centred in the isle and that the horizon is level ... this is especially important the wider your focal length as super wide will exaggerate the angles ... and if they're off, you really notice it.

Ro, i still cannot believe this is your first wedding, you must fully book yourself out every single weekend with weddings and do this for a living, you need to...you just MUST i tell you! Your photo's are wonderful, you have so much talent and i am so jealous of your talent, i cant find a flaw at all in your shots and if someone CAN then i beg them to tell me so i can at least say "See your not perfect" HAHAHAHAHA no im just kidding on that, you have a great talent you must use it :)

I love #2, great work! Be careful of your white ballance, some look a little on the blue side to me.

Thanks!!! This will be a lesson on my next wedding........The main reason why I wasn't in the middle of the aisle when they entered was because the pros had it covered.........so I had to settle for the side as to not block thier view........Same with the outdoor shot, I literally had to sit and point the camera up to get the cross in there without cutting it off.......(I sometimes wish I have the 5D on these situations)..........:lol::lol:

Thanks Tim!!! I tried to equalize the wb on all my shots...........but I'm not too concerned because if they print with a bit of a color cast, I can always tweak it again on RSE............the beauty of RAW is most appreciated on these events...........

The blue effect that tim speaks of to me is actually nice however I would watcht the his, look like you are blowing out your whites. If this is the effect you are going for then it is good.

Roanjohn,
Your stuff always knocks my socks off.
The fact that you weren't the hired gun and had to stay out of his way makes these even more impressive. If you ever decide to get into this line of work, you'll be making the big bucks in no time!

You are correct.........I am not even aware of my whites..........I might be putting too much contrast on PS............YIKES!!! I'll have to look at the original files if they present the same blow out.
