the last one is a nice shot and the edit of #2 is interesting but in all of your shots it looks like you are using a harsh flash that is clearing the flower petals of any noticeable detail. Did you use flash for these?

i noticed that when i edited them. i up'd the contrast and the saturation, I guess that got rid of some detail.
I did not use any flash.

Nice shots James, they might be a bit overexposed but keep up the good work. :)

I like #3 James. I've shot magnolias like this before and they work when you lose the oof bottom leaf (if it's possible to elevate your shooting position). Macro shots of the centre suggests buildings etc...great flowers. Look forward to more of these. :)

James, #2 is interesting. It could be used as an ad - it has strong impact.

Love the first shot with the angle of the flower in relation to the ones in the background.

That second image is a very good effect.
