We were a few minutes away from boarding in LA, when I saw this. I just had to dig out their camera As ususal please Crtique and Comment.

It's a hair too dark for me, but yet another nailed composition. Did you bracket or shoot raw perhaps?

Another fantastic shot Rad.

Two questions:

Can you give us an idea of settings and lens?

Did the security guards give you a hard time at all when you got your camera out and started snapping?

Thanks, yes I should have been thinking when I posted this last night. I was still a bit delirious. Here is the info:

As far as security goes, not even a mention. It seems to have cooled off a lot. BUT, keep this context in mind - there were 400+ travelers all going "ohh, ahh" and a lot of them were taking the same shots, some SLRs, some with P&Ss firing their flashes into the glass (ouch).

Thanks for the comments. When I saw the view the planes were in silhouette, so that is what I was intending. However, I did shoot raw and here is a try at processing a somewhat brighter one. Any better?
