this is one of my 1st attempts at bird photography.
just getting into practice for when my new 100-400 L comes later this week.
this was taken with my sigma 24-70 2.8
f7.1 iso 100 at 1/200 sec
any comments welcome

Hi,
the duck shot, a lower angle would have been a lot better, if possible try to bring the camera to your subjects eye level.

Both are good shots, the details are clear.

thanks. but if you look at the dusty rocky ground that the duuck was on, you can understand why i didnt get down on hands and knees. ill have to start taking something to put on the floor. LOL
