an ID shot of a Giraffe (hooray for Sigma 50-500)

the Sigma lens is fantastic if used on a pod
how else could one get a mug shot of a giraffe 5 meters high?

I never saw quite such a close up of the (where is it anyway) mouth of a Giraffe before
never saw a real close up like it, showing the full face.
meaning I never noticed so much on his face before
so it must be good

Thank you, Marie. The Giraffes were quite shy and difficult to approach. I suppose the only way to get real close-ups is in a zoo.

I had a close up once of a giraffe in a safari park, it put it's head through the sunroof of my car.

I love the warm highlights going down the both sides of it's neck and the giraffe stands out well from the background. Good shot.

these giraffes roam around in a park and if they don't feel like it you get no shots
they are abolutely gorgeous creatures ,the way they move like dancers...
