The other day on my walk near a stream, I noticed this guy walking around in the grass. Never seen that before . Taken with my 100-400 about 4-5 feet away.

Very lucky to have this crayfish walking across your path.
Framed well and clear.

Nice shot!

I used to catch those alot, but I have never seen one on land, especially in the day. They always hide in between rocks and stuff at the shoreline (and pinch really hard :P).

Good shot. We don't have them in our parts except occasionally on a plate.

Nope, I promise, didn't put him there. Funny thing is, when I got too close to him, he used his tail as if he was in the water and quickly moved backwards. Very odd. Never seen one out of the water either

Very cool the inland lobster I've caught them walking around on the grass near ponds but, not too often.
