...I know my results can't compare to many of the shots I see posted here but I still want to post my shots and see what C&C they generate. I took a walk around the neighborhood this evening and after going thru the shots I took I liked these. I try to use a Canon G5 and I edit them in PS Elements 3.0...I have plans to move up to a Rebel XT but for now I really try to hone my skills a little as I go along. So...what ya think?

Pansies are very difficult to make look interesting. I've taken 100s of shots of all different color pansies this spring and over the past few years, and they do not impress me no matter how I shoot them. The other two are better choices but in the first shot, there is poor lighting. The second is the best picture of three.

Yes pansies can be difficult. I always get them burned around the edges.
Your shot of the pansy is better than the ones I have taken.
